Ngaio Marsh is one of the best examples of a writer of great mystery. His books are the first from 1930 to early 1980, each of which is exceptionally good. Too often, the author loses steam after writing several books in a series, but continued to publish books almost on autopilot. Not so with Ngaio Marsh! Who was Ngaio Marsh? His mother was a New Zealander and his father came from London. Founded in 1895 Edith Ngaio Marsh and had aspirations of a theatrical life.
She was described as very tall (5'10 ") which could be one factor that contributed to his not becoming a lady. Fortunately for us has become a place of mystery author! Early LifeMarsh was an only child and describes herself as introverted. It 'was a great lover of books, and his family was very interested in theater. He went to college to study painting, but later found it was more appropriate writing.
She joined a theater group, but had resign when they went abroad. Ngaio mother did not think it would be good for a single woman to travel unaccompanied. Then Marsh focuses on painting, tutoring, and writing plays. She became a company standard high. (never Ngaio Marsh married and had children.) Chief Superintendent Roderick AlleynIn 1931, took a stab at writing a mystery. His first novel in the series "A man is dead," introduced the world to London Chief Superintendent Roderick Alleyn.
Alleyn only a thin layer of society in England. His brother (brother of course) is one of the books really Lord.TimelessHer seem rather out of time. writes mysteries that are always good, with characters that seem real. Even when reading a book by moors in the early 21 years, you find that you can connect to action. The characters do not seem to disappear with the mysteries time.h puzzles are true.
